Thai Smile Rancho Santa Margarita

Not sure why this restaurant has so many good reviews the customer service and food are awful. I ordered the pad thai and it smelled so much like fish sauce. The entire table could smell it. When I told the waitress that I wanted to exchange it for something else, she told me that they don't do returns and that nobody else has complained about it so there is nothing wrong with the food. My friend tried the Tom Yum and he said it tasted too sweet and flavorless. The other people I went with shared the same experience. We have been to lots of Thai places and this is by far the worst. I'm wondering if this place used to be good and had a change of staff (hence the positive reviews).

The food was pretty good, and comparable, if not better than, others in the area. It would be much more convenient for the customer if they got an on hold service that will queue customers rather than using a busy signal that forces the customer to keep dialing and dialing and dialing in the hopes of getting through before someone else does.

Negative 1 review . Disgusting food! Over priced. The yellow curry is pure milk, the meat is rubbery. Every single dish was covered in oil. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I don't understand how people even like this.

Sooooo good!! Got an order to go and everything was so delicious. They gave us so much food too, will definitely have leftovers! The sauces are super flavorful while still feeling light and fresh. We got: Beef Pad Kee Mao Kung Pao Chicken Build Your Own with Chicken/Ginger (green beans substituted for bell peppers)

This place was so delicious. My friend and I went here for lunch. The service staff was incredibly friendly and attentive which I always appreciate, even though they were a little confused at first by us taking 360 photos inside. I got the pork pad Thai lunch special and it was gigantic for a lunch special. Which I really loved cuz I love getting more bang for your buck. It was hot and spicy with a little sweetness to the noodles too that I loved. This place was great and I can't wait to go back!
