Cosmo's Italian Kitchen

Cute place and nice staff but honestly the food that I ordered was not at all what I was expecting. The bread was cheap, white, soft bread that you would not choose as bread to dip into balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I ordered the pesto pasta dish and the “Pesto” was nothing even close to pesto. There was no basil to be found and it a such a bland sad looking dish. I was told that it was “their version” of pesto but honestly it was not pesto. Such a disappointment.

We joined our friends at your restaurant on September 23, 2023. We were given menus when we sat down and it was over 45 minutes before she returned to take our order. My husband asked her about the chipotle sausage pasta and she said it was very mild. Not hot. She finally brought us our drinks which we consumed, and my husband asked for a refill. She took his glass and never returned with it. When we finally put our order in, we sat there for almost an hour, waiting for our food. When we asked her where our food was, she went to the kitchen, came back and said oh the ticket fell on the floor they’re making it now . When we finally got our order, my husband was very disappointed because his dinner was quite hot. Our friends, who invited us to join them at your restaurant, said they have never had such poor service. When we finally received our bills our friend 's salad was on our check. Nothing seemed to go right at this dinner. I would like to return. The food was very good, but the service was probably the worst we have ever had. I wrote this message to the manager on September 24, 2023, hoping they would at least acknowledge that there was a problem. It is now October 7, 2023 and they haven 't even taken the time to say they are sorry.

Great service and ambience. The salads are very appetizing. I have tried a couple of appetizers too, they are par for the course.

Went to Cosmo's tonight with my wife got seated at a table and then another couple got seated behind us a couple minutes later. The server went to them first brought them bread and asked what they wanted to drink. Five minutes later she came to us asked us what we wanted to drink did not bring any bread Then she went to the other table behind us, brought them water and took their order. Still, we have no bread and no drinks. Finally we just got up and left. Not a good experience. Went to Joe's down the street had a good dinner.

The food is always great! Highly recommend Cosmos. The Emiliano is excellent as is the Bruschetta w/ feta salad with blackened chicken. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
