First of all, the wait for a table is an absolute nightmare. They don’t text you when your table is ready, so you end up standing in a cramped space, crowded by other guests and servers. The owner was exceptionally rude, telling us we were obstructing tables from being served, despite there being nowhere else to stand. In the summer, it might be bearable to wait outside, but in the winter, standing in 15-degree weather is not an option. If they're having issues with people lingering inside, they should implement a modern waiting system that allows guests to wait in their cars until their table is ready. The main problem here was the food and customer service. I ordered an omelette without bacon since I'm a vegetarian. To my dismay, I discovered a piece of bacon in my first bite. This sort of mistake happens often when I dine out, so I politely informed our server. He replied that if there was bacon, it must just be that one piece. I was stunned—how could he assume it's acceptable for me to eat something I specifically requested to be omitted? What if I were allergic or didn’t eat it for religious reasons? Eventually, he offered to take the plate back for a new omelette. But moments later, the owner returned with my plate, claiming she had confirmed with the chef that no bacon was added and that it was likely just residue from the skillet since everything is cooked together. This basically means they admit to cross-contaminating their food, which is concerning. The bottom line is, they refused to prepare a new meal for me. I have NEVER encountered a situation where I was denied a replacement meal after finding meat in a dish I requested to be meat-free. Since I was starving, I ended up picking apart my meal and inspecting each bite before eating. It was far from enjoyable, especially knowing it was cooked in bacon grease. After we paid and were about to leave, the owner approached us once again to ask if I was comfortable eating my meal and tried to reassure me that the eggs were cooked in separate pans, which contradicted what I had been told earlier. If she genuinely cared about her customers' comfort, she would have made me a new omelette right away. It felt like a ploy to avoid a bad review. Well, guess what? You’re getting one anyway! RIDICULOUS!

I visited yesterday to pick up your donation for the Pancreatic Cancer Walk and couldn't resist grabbing some takeout. The spinach lasagna was incredible, but the lentil soup stole the show—I finished the entire quart in one sitting! I'm excited to enjoy my pumpkin bisque for lunch today; I'm already drooling at the thought! I live in Paramus, but I plan to become a regular customer. Everything was absolutely delicious!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we loved the charming café atmosphere. The staff, especially Trish, was incredibly friendly. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It felt like an upscale dining experience, yet the prices were very reasonable for the quality we received. We appreciated the outdoor dining area, which had cushioned chairs and matched the comfort of the indoor space. I highly recommend this place for breakfast!

Got catering over the weekend. Pick up was flawless. Food was fresh and delicious!
