Wow, so yes, there's only cash signs everywhere, and no cash machines around, that's a bummer. broken CC machine. we sat easy and ordered some.
I wasn't impressed. no bad time, but nothing I'm going over. when we first arrived, there was only a cash on the door.
I haven't been in this restaurant for over a year, but I heard that the place is under new ownership, I just had to give them another try and I couldn't be happier that I did. I understand that changes in the night do not happen, but the few changes that were noticeable make me excited to see what this place has for our little town in the store. The taste of freshness was the first thing I noticed. Any role we had ordered had its own unique taste and the ingredients were super fresh. The colors of the fish populated and made the sushi rolls look like they tasted. The next big difference I noticed was the atmosphere. Staff, though super busy, were energetic and smiling. The energy at the place was one you felt welcome when you came in. If you were not in Da Tuna Shack last week, I suggest you wipe off your slate of negative memories and go in with fresh eyes. You'll be glad you did it! This place is again a restaurant I started again, recommend people who ask where I enjoy eating in the city!
Above average sushi, especially considering its remote location. Sushi presentation shows lack of experience, but quality of the fish is consistently very good. Highly recommend Chuck Norris Roll, Debbie Roll, Hahana Roll.
