Yet another decent BBQ place here in NC. Freshly sliced to order brisket with a good flavor to it. A nice balance of smokey and seasoning. The beans were good, but just had the classic baked bean flavor. Nothing too special. They had some decent sauces, if you like NC vinegar based. And honestly some of the best hush puppies around. Definitely worth stopping in if you want some bbq and you're in the area.

The workers were very sweet and understanding of us having a toddler. We felt very welcomed, and they answered any question we had about their specials on the menu. Place was clean and we loved everything we ate. Will definitely stop by again when in the area!

Today was my first time trying Red Hot and Blue. I ordered a pulled pork lunch special with baked beans. The beans were good, however I received no bun nor sauce for my sandwich. Because my lunch break ended and I could not return, I have been trying to contact the restaurant for the past 4 hours with no answer and the phone disconnects after about 10 rings. This was an extremely disappointing first-time experience.

Met an my old manager there for lunch. She never ate there before. We were standing reading the menu. The employee who serves the meat was impatient and rude. I think he was having a bad day. I ordered the two type meat salad. I only received one type of meat because there was no turkey available. Employee didn't want to answer any questions we tried to ask. The food was pretty good. It will be awhile before I return. I love good food and great customer service
