Wakefield Tavern - Raleigh

The food at this restaurant is always excellent. Our server, Jordan, was outstanding- professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is because of an incident at the end of our visit. My wife tripped and fell on a rug in the entryway. Thankfully, a kind man helped her up and mentioned he had also fallen under similar circumstances. I suggest the manager take a closer look at the rug and consider replacing it with a safer option.

I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap with tater tots, and we also had chicken wings, a pasta dish, a patty melt, and a pretzel plate. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place. It may become another one of my go-to spots.

Incredible service, how is it possible in 2023? I would return even if the food was not amazing because of the fantastic treatment we received, especially for my family. Additionally, the food was also fantastic, making for an extraordinary experience. Thank you Wakefield Tavern.

Great local atmosphere with a hearty meal, cold beer and very friendly staff would definitely come again

This place is cozy and delightful. Good wine selection, fresh salads, and they have something for everyone. My kid loved the burger.
