Bidrage med feedbackThe staff was incredibly friendly, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. I ordered my steak medium rare, but I received one of the most overcooked steaks I've ever had. My wife's salmon was okay, but overall, it was a significant disappointment considering the $75 bill.
We've been visiting this restaurant for special occasions and date nights for many years, and we've also had corporate dinners in the private rooms. Our recent visit maintained the high standard we've come to expect, with consistent service and quality. I chose the trout, having had steak the day before, while my wife opted for a filet or ribeye, if I remember correctly. Everything was fantastic! The service was excellent, and we absolutely love the atmosphere. It's a bit pricey, and with a mid-range bottle of wine, an Oyster Rockefeller appetizer, and a tip, our total came to around $200. We felt valued and well taken care of by our server, and we truly enjoyed our time there.
The crab dip was rich and full of crab flavor, while the onion rings were large and juicy, coated in the best batter I've ever tasted. The Caesar salad featured dressing that was mixed in ahead of time, and although the croutons were sizable, they were light and fluffy yet still crispy. The bread was also wonderful, with a slightly sweet crust. As for the entrées, they were exquisite. I had the Delmonico ribeye served with smoked Gouda potato gratin, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Our waiter asked everyone to cut into their meat at the table to ensure it was at the right temperature (everyone's was), which was considerate, especially considering a previous review where someone complained about their well-done steak, which they had ordered that way. My husband's salmon was fantastic both with and without the beurre blanc sauce he added. My father ordered the prime rib, which was as tender as it should have been. The accompanying au jus complemented it perfectly without overwhelming the flavor. For dessert, we chose the white chocolate cheesecake and crème brûlée, both of which were delicious. I would definitely be happy to return here again!
This is one of the most incredible places I've ever visited. My husband and I went here after we eloped, and it was absolutely worth it!
Absolutely outstanding! Chef Tom and his team left me completely amazed. The calamari was the best I’ve had in 23 years. My ribeye served with Béarnaise sauce was perfectly cooked as well. And then there was the Brick of Love—layered potatoes combined with creamy, smoky Gouda goodness. Next time, I’ll make sure to highlight the staff, as they were wonderful too!
