Save your money on the catfish fingers and don’t expect much from the pulled pork sandwich—it’s just dry meat on a bun. However, don’t overlook the chili! I usually don’t care for it, but I couldn't stop eating the brisket chili. The chips were great as well.

What on earth happened to this restaurant? First off, it was incredibly dirty. Then there was the food – the pulled chicken was filled with chunks of gristle and fat, and the caramelized brisket was just crispy blobs of fat. It was disgusting! The collard greens had no seasoning and were completely flavorless. The baked sweet potatoes were lukewarm, and we were not offered any bread, corn muffins, or hush puppies while we waited for our dinner. To top it off, the salad arrived with the main meal instead of before it. I won’t be returning. City BBQ and Prime BBQ in Knightdale are far superior. The dining room was empty for a reason. Rest in peace.

The restaurant and its atmosphere were impressive. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by inviting aromas. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match that initial promise. The turkey was delicious, but the collard greens were poorly cooked and had a bitter taste. The green beans were unappetizing, and the pulled chicken had a strong, gamey flavor. I found the pulled pork to be acceptable, but my wife strongly disagreed. The sausage was average, while the brisket was tough—honestly, I can prepare better brisket at home. I was particularly disappointed with the burnt ends; there was no proper balance of meat to fat, essentially paying about $17 for lumps of fat. They didn't have the charred exterior or glazed sauce that typically defines burnt ends, so I would avoid ordering those again. Given the lackluster quality of most of the dishes, we probably won't return. I can grill better barbecue in my backyard for less money. The only reason I gave this review two stars is due to the excellent turkey.

1st time here. We will not be back. It was recommended to us. Maybe because it was a Sunday. Walking into the door there was people waiting that no one had helped yes. I had to go ask a girl I would give her a 5 star). Our waiter forgot everything even know I had to give him a pen to write it down. They were out of a lot of things. My husband's beer for one. The brisket was Luke warm and didn't have any flavor ?. Hush puppies were cold. But the Mac and cheese was hot and creamy.I know it's hard to get good help Reese days but come on..

This restaurant was definitely not one of my favs. They were out of catfish, turkey, bake potatoes and sweet potatoes. The Caesar salad was good and the brisket was pretty tasty. The okra had no flavor, fries were too salty. The potato salad was bland. The ribs was though. The chicken bbq, pork bbq and mac was okay. I ordered a drinky drink lol and it taste like juice only. Guess we caught them on a bad day ?. I dnt plan on going back!
