Bidrage med feedbackOrdered eggplant parm. Eggplant was so undercooked that I couldn't bite into it. This place used to be consistently good in the mid 2010s but has really gone downhill.
Absolutely love this place. Conveniently located (for me/my family, which might not be the case for everyone but still), food is excellent and quality is consistent visit after visit. My family comes here just just about every Friday for pizza and ice cream night (check out Two Roosters next door, great scoop shop) and have no plans on switching spots any time soon. Staff is friendly, pricing is very reasonable, and my toddler loves the food too. Great spot.
Usually enjoy Papa 's, but recently ordered pickle chips and for $7, we received 7 pickle chips (that 's less than a single pickle! .Not a huge deal, it must be a mistake we thought. So, I called and figured they would make us more or give us a free order later. Instead, we were informed that we actually only should have gotten 6 chips, but that they gave us an extra one for free .Everyone was polite and it was good food, but I am writing my first review in years because 6 pickle chips for $7 is just crazy.EDIT: Received a call back from the manager and they explained the people were referring to pickle spears, not chips and offered a replacement order on next visit. Updated rating to reflect excellent service.
Best buffalo chicken pizza I’ve had in a while! And their GARLIC SAUCE! To die for, first time ordering here, I ordered on a whim wanting something aside from a chain, loved it, also ordered the cheese pizza which was ok, but that buffalo pizza, delicious. Will be ordered here again
Papa's Pizza Subs is located in the Greystone Shopping Center in North Raleigh. There are tables and booths to eat inside as well as some tables outside. Although the to go orders outnumbered those dining in at least the day I was there. I was greeted when I entered and my questions were answered about the lunch special. It was a great deal for a personal 10 inch pizza and a beverage. I went with the Hawaiian pizza as it is one of my favorites. They sure didn't skimp on the toppings, look at all that cheese. I liked that the crust was a little thicker to hold all of the toppings. I also liked that they cut it in smaller pieces as that is easier for me to eat. I see many shows a few doors down at NRACT so this is a convenient place to dine before or after the show and the food and service are great too.
