Hayashi Japanese - Raleigh

I've been here for 13 years and NIE had a bad time. The Calamari Salat)house made dressing) and Punk Rock Roll (not on menu) are amazing. It's my favorite sushi restaurant everywhere. Staff and owners are friendly and funny.

The sushi here is remarkably good. Try the Dragon Roll safe. The sushi kitchens are precise and very creative with beautiful presentations. The seafood tastes incredibly fresh. The service is fast and incredibly friendly. It is not a large dining area, but it is definitely worth waiting for a table.

My son did not like this food (I never tried) that little children do. We ordered the Hibachi chicken and he had nothing of it. The OWNER (the name I didn't catch) caught my son's Shenanigans and dealt with him. My son wanted French fries and said I was back. Came back with a plate full of fried chicken strips, they called French pommes and gave my son a nasty shock. He loved his French fries immersed in Yamsauce. The food was anyway good (the Aloha roll is great), but the level of service from the staff and owner deserves it more than 5 stars from me! Absolutely come back.

Was here twice and every time I left, I was never disappointed! This place is a great jewel for sushi! From fresh sushi to great service, this place exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come here a lot more!

My new favorite sushi spot in the area The service was fantastic! The design/decorations were great which took us by surprise because it's located in a shopping center. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and they have a great collection of rolls! We had their house salad and a variety of special rolls all wonderful! Can't wait to go back and try more!
