Bidrage med feedbackA great place for healthy bowls. The staff was so friendly every time we were here. It's never too busy and it was consistent. I wish there were more places like these in all the states. Go on!
Another Gem! B. Good was good! My family of 4 stopped at B. Good after the Raleigh Christmas Parade. This was our first time here. Food was fresh and delicious. They even have different selection of beverages than what your normal Coca-Cola and Pepsi. Good eats.
I went to lunch here today with a friend at 12:30pm. It was absolutely packed but the staff did an amazing job taking orders and sending out food at a fast and timely pace. My friend ordered the CURRY GRILLED AVOCADO (organic quinoa, kale, sautéed veggies, cauliflower, roasted red pepper, peas, almonds, spicy curry, mint-yogurt sauce) while I ordered the ADOPTED LUKE burger (mushrooms, caramelized onions, smoked gouda, bbq sauce). Both were delicious. While it was packed and the staff did great behind the counter, trash did pile up in the middle of lunch rush and was a huge eye sore (massive pile). When a worker did come out to handle it, she handled it with a smile and did quick and clean work. I came here because I bought a Groupon but I will definitely be back.
Good food, fresh ingredients, fast service and a but pricey. Hey fresh organic ingredients cost a bit more and I get it. The food though is really good and there are options for everyone. You got wraps, salads, burgers that can have the bread substituted for lettuce, they have kale, quinoa options and some fresh healthy smoothies. Given the size and rush of the crowd I'd say it's a busy lunch hot spot. My only complaint was my fries. They mentioned that the fries are finished in the oven, but mine were undercooked and soggy while my colleagues fries made from another batch was crispy and what a good fry should be, so 1 star dinged for that inconsistency, but overall I felt they had really healthy options for food and very great ingredients. I had the El Guapo burger with egg, bacon, homemade jalapeno slaw and jalapeno ranch and the burger was perfectly cooked medium as requested and the slaw and ranch packed a punch but was not overly pricey. A decent place if your in the neighborhood or want to grab a quick lunch.
We got here right before a huge crowd from the conference center hit. I got the el guapo chicken sandwich with fries. It had a jalapeno slaw with jalapeno ranch and I'm so glad I went with it over something plain. The chicken was very bland and dry and needed something flavorful to go with it. The meal itself took 15 minutes to get even though I best the crowd because it was waiting for fries. I stood and watched them make the fries and they were only able to turn out a couple servings at a time (they're baked). Something there could likely be fixed. Also while watching them make the meals I watched the girl put all of the toppings on the meals. She wore gloves. She didn't change her gloves after picking up and reorganizing all of the buzzers people were returning after they picked up their food. She just went back to touching slaw and pickles and such. That grossed me out a bit. I think they have a good concept but with all of the excellent food nearby I don't know how they stay in business. I got an OK sandwich fries and a drink for 15.00 while yesterday right across the street I got an awesome country fried steak with three veges at a sit down place for 10.00. Do the math. There's a lot better food in Raleigh. But if you're at the conference and want local grown food and don't want to walk a few extra feet, go for it.
