Rainbow Beach Surf Life Saving Supporter's Club Restaurant

This was the first time visiting since renovations. We ordered the seafood basket and the California pizza. The seafood basket is all deep fried, nothing fresh, all packet items. The only fresh thing on the plate was the salad which was full of brown, limp salad leaves, obviously yesterday's. Had to call a waitress and mention this (have never complained to wait staff before, and have also never left a review anywere before). She did not care. Pizza was also underdone. Unfortunately we left most of both meals. We have previously dined there on multiple occasions, always having great food and it being a spot that we brought others to for special events. So, so disappointed in the whole experience. Unfortunately, this will be our last time.

The food at this restaurant does not live up to the hype. The menu is typical pub fare, and I had the frozen fish with pre-cooked chips and soggy salad. Now that the venue has been renovated, it is time to update the menu and consider hiring a new head chef.

Great views terrible food.booked table on right hand side of the deck got there and was seated at the left side. Been here many times before but won’t go back prawn linguine swimming in supposedly basil oil .no taste awful .really disappointing.staff terrible..awful food

Awesome view, relaxed atmosphere, with good service and good pub food. Lots to choose from, sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view

Had a table booked outside on the deck for 20 people booked this table over 2 months ago to ensure its availability. Arrived there to find there was no booking apparently there had been a computer problem (obviously have never heard about backing up one 's files). The manager was not apologetic in any way. They then arranged tables inside right beside the entrance/exit to the deck. Had i arrived first i would have marched the group over to 'The Deck ' and spent our money there. The service overall was average, and downwards from there. Ironically there were tables out on the deck reserved and the two groups did not turn up. Will not be returning as there are other great options for meals in the town.
