Although there are some restaurants in the small towns known throughout Germany by its beer, we rarely come there. Before the last beer theatre visits we wanted to go to the local steak house “Papperlapapp”. But our friends wanted to go to dinner with us for a long time and therefore often started. On this Saturday it should finally work, but only after the first run of the guests who want to enter the beer theatre. For us no problem, we all had time this weekend and were able to start in peace in the second run. We should be in the restaurant just before 7:00, we'll have time all night. Said, with the mobile underset it went to the Radeberger city centre. Experience has shown that during the performances at the Biertheater it is very bad to get a parking space, even the small side streets are parked. We were lucky and got a place on the edge. The last meters went on foot to the poplar lapapp. As the restaurant has come on its name, I don't quite agree, but there are many years now and enjoys high popularity, which also makes the reservations clear. The restaurant is divided into two areas, once an empor and once the area in front of the counter. Each area is served separately by a lady, so there is no confusion. On our arrival a few tables were still available, but this should change in the next few minutes. We were kindly welcomed, the table reservation checked and then brought to our place. View into the dining room and the counter There are different table sizes in the restaurant, so you can eat together and undisturbed as a family, couple or even as a larger group of friends. The tables are sufficiently large and all tables are with tablecloth, napkins and fresh(! Flowers covered. That's something for the eye. On the wide, padded chairs you sit comfortably, so the evening can be held. The menus were handed over by the lady responsible for us, and we had some time left for the drinks. Not only are the obligatory drinks available at a restaurant, in a separate cocktail menu you can choose 14 different cocktails. There are 5 appetizers and 7 other appetizers in the list. Well, that's a big house number, so the kitchen has done something, we're excited. Our drinks were in place after almost 10 minutes, and now we were able to give up our dishes. Too bad it's just in the bottle, I'm afraid I've already gotten out of the barrel. Since I am a passionate beer drinker, I have to give the Radeberger brewery a real praise here, this alcohol-free Pils finally really tastes for real beer. There are only a few breweries with their alcohol-free trials. Radeberger alcohol-free The soft drinks are served here in small bottles, not like in some other gastro from large PET bottles. The hot chocolate really tasted for chocolate, not only after sweet cocoa powder. A thick layer of whipped cream gave up. Tomato soup To shorten the waiting time for our appetizers, there was a greeting from the kitchen 10 minutes later. Fresh, still warm pizza rolls with a Quark Dip were served here. The soups were served in large cups, which were once at the furniture store Höffner and also decorate our local kitchen cabinet. My wife had decided for the tomato soup, and already at the first spoon she moved her face, she sneaked to me, and said “Coste mal”. I did, too, and had to find out that the soup went very far past a heat source or stood in the kitchen for a long time. You could not even say that she is “furtly”. So the waitress called and the soup returned. She was uncomfortable, and she apologized politely. After a few minutes she was back at the table with the same cup, with the same splashes on the edge. It's more obvious that you're not going to make the whole thing warm in the ping. disappointing. Although the soup was very deficient, made from spiced tomatoes and many herbs, warmed in the pot or at least a new cup would be of advantage. But the Soljanka itself was really homemade. Many small, fried sausage pieces and even more onion and peppers in a hearty, thick sauce. Either sweet or hearty. But tastes are quite different, and sometimes I am sweet, sometimes sour, sometimes (more bitter(t and sometimes hearty, uh heartbreaking). In any case, they ordered once again: · 2x egg liqueur Mug – 3 balls ice cream with egg liqueur, Schokosauce and whipped cream at 8,90 € · 1x hot with ice – 3 balls ice cream with hot raspberries and cream for 6,90 € · 1x hot with ice the seniors as above but with 2 balls ice cream for 5,52 € The ice cups lasted just a few minutes and were ok. Until the mistake with the cold soup we were satisfied. Our son-in-law would have found his carving paradise here. See if an invitation follows.
