La Guaguasería By Somos - Quito

We had the tasting menu consisting of 7 dishes paired with Ecuadorian wines, and it was a festival! Not only the dishes unique, Ecuadorian and tasty, both the dishes and the restaurant and the staff look great. We loved the masks so much, we bought one to bring home with us! We think this restaurant could even be run for a Michael star! Just a few smaller things to maybe improve. (In the beginning, the waiter asked us about allergies and misunderstandings, where we did not ask for Cilantro. Unfortunately, one of the dishes came with Zilantro oil. But no stress, they repaired it really fast and with a smile! One last point of improvement would be that our host told us he would be ready for us all night, but then unfortunately had to go. This happened without announcement, we only had a beautiful lady who helps us in the end. Of course not much, but these little things could help you get that star.

Great unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is so unique, the hot chocolate is remarkable, and the Guaguasas each have their own tasty taste palette.

That was a top 3 meal in my life. With a group of six of us we were all blown away. Amazing and interesting flavors, with great options for omnivores and vegetarians. Great cocktails as well as some truly unique combinations of flavors also there. We're definitely going back!
