Jan's And Grill - Quitman

OMG! I ordered a CFS, MP with brown gravy and fried okra and the chicken fried steak was HUGE!! I normally order breakfast but it was almost 2pm. I saw that and said OMG!! that's huge. She said save the other half for dinner. That's what I done. Service is always excellent thank you so much I love coming there..Food: 5/5

Weve eaten at Jans 4 different times.1x for breakfast and it was ok, not hot at all.3x for dinners. Steaks were good, chicken fried steak was good.Service was not good. No one is in a hurry to seat you and once you get seated be prepared to wait before anyone comes to the table.3 times and service remains the same.

The food was cold and it didn’t taste like anything. Even the fries were soggy. The ice tea tasted bad as well. The coleslaw was also drenched in mayo and didn’t taste fresh. Overall it was extremely overpriced for what it was considering how easy it is to make food like that taste good.

We thought we had found our Restaurant in Jan’s. Liked the food, good waitress and friendly. But yesterday we were treated like second rate customers. I thought all customers should be treated alike but I guess there was a customer more important than us. They have lost a customer not that it will effect them but they hurt the waitress by taking our tip away from them. I believe the management should compensate them for that loss.Juan

This is my favorite breakfast place by far! They have the best food, best service, and an amazing atmosphere. They treat everyone like family.Food: 5/5
