Le Verre et l'Assiette - Quintin

Summer time, after a hot trip, hungry and thirsty, with quintin beautiful granite town with a lot of historical charm as our destination to lunch. only one problem: this is frankly, most places were closed. we have made a round and saw that le Verre...et l'assiette was open. again happiness: there was about 12:15, and there was a free table. 5 minutes later, we would have had a problem. elaborate, generous and friendly. okay, I've accumulated it from the average. but no, there's the toilet. they have to clean it up. if that happens, I'll give them a bonus point.

We arrived at 12.45 clock and the restaurant was three quarters full with local diners. the beautiful waitress had everything completely under control, gave menus to 2 tables at a time and received their order before they went to the next. my partner and...I both had 3 curbs du jour: fantastic finely chopped salmon loosely set, then the chicken plate partners my and my pork plate both with beautiful finely cut chips served nothing like the usual frit served in most places) and a wonderful delicious sauce and amazing chocolate maus to finish. not only this unforgettable eating, but fantastic worth of 13euro for 3 courses. all this was done by waitress in front of the house and a chef in the kitchen. fantastic and a grande merci! look at the photos of the courses we have set up.

This is a small restaurant, with a limited choice and a small selection of wines, but this is as it should be. Limited choice means it is result cooked, small wine list with good small wines that a company well the food. Service is fast...and friendly, the food is nicely presented and good. The value for money is amazing. These peope work hard and will not get rich at these pricesl but the restaurant fills quickly and they have the satisfaction of their customers. This is not great cuisine, but this is good cuisine, and served with a smile. What more can you ask for?

Locals day to day lunch and dinner venue...excellent fresh cooked sea and local produce. Like the old days French plat du jour and set menu. 3 courses 13 Euro...lovely service, lovely carafe of rose, great cooking. Perfect sleepy Breton town too don't drive by....Park right outside the restaurant so car in view...typical tabac and bar opposite with outdoor space at back.

À priori ouvert que le midi mais service de qualité et surtout une cuisine excellente pour un prix imbattable!Je recommande fortement!
