Bidrage med feedbackLoved this place, for the historic old square, and the ambiance and casual good manners of the proprietor. The food was typical fFrench fare, but with a dash of flare, the wine is good and they serve really good local craft beer (we were one of the first to try). To recommend.
Exceptional service and the food was great! I ordered the Lamb leg and it was delicious! The meat was so tender it fell off the bone! My companions had the Camembert cheese dish and they loved it, I eyed off their plates so much I had to steal some for myself and it tasted as good as it looked!!! I definitely recommend! The building itself it's not on the classy side but it's comfortable and welcoming which we like better anyways!
The only drawback with this wonderful part of France is a lack of good places to eat. There are several that are just fine, but few with imaginative kitchens. This is a lovely little place, located on period square in the town, and serving very decent food. The lunch choices are good - range from coq au vin (EUR 10) to a good squid dish (EUR 16), adn the dinner menu similar.A very welcome stop on the culinary track of the Aude.
Stopped here for a lovely coffee in the morning and booked in for evening meal. Three people three different meals all excellent very friendly service and atmosphere
