Bidrage med feedbackIt's my first time at The Hide Out and I'm very impressed that a small place like this would offer such good food at a low cost. I ordered Chicken Pesto Pasta while my friends ordered Mushroom Carbonara. The Chicken Pesto Pasta was flavorful and you get what you paid for. The carbonara was also yummy and creamy. We also ordered frappes - Oreo and Mocha. I don't like Oreo-flavored food (yep I'm that weird) but the Oreo Frappe was good. I didn't get to try the Mocha Frappe though.
Such a disappointment! Small place to offer unli pasta! And the pasta itself is too bland! Parang kumain ka sa birthday party! Hindi pa na accommodate lahat ng customer, ang daming umalis halatang dumayo pa naman.
The place is small but perfect for people who want to have a quiet study session. We tried the frappes but they were not that great -- halfway through they get really watery and bland. But they're affordable so I didn't really expect much. Will come back for the food!
This place has the best iced americano in the entire Teacher's Village area in my opinion. The coffee blend is bold and not acidic at all, which is what i prefer. I order this to go then take it home to make two larger cups. It's that strong! It only costs Php65 too! The staff are nice enough, but the place is too warm for me to want to actually stay long. I wish this place opened earlier or opened at a consistent time; it's opened on some days and closed on others. I have never seen it open by 10AM, which is too bad. The coffee's good enough for me to keep coming back regularly.
I love the food here. So far I have tried seafood paella and carbonara. No regrets. The place is small though, but tolerable if you just want a cozy, quiet place to eat in.
