Tapa King - Quezon City

Had dinner here before going to the supermarket. They had a promo then for 2 Tapa King meals. I just forgot how much the promo was. Nothing fancy with their Tapa King and it's just the way tapa should be. Tried their lecheflan for dessert. I didn't like it and won't recommend it. They have a few seats available inside but since it's located at the food court, there are plenty of seats outside.

Tried out their kare kare, not bad at all. The sauce was thick although I did not taste the peanuts, but at least all the pieces were beef and very very tender. The coffee was a bit bland, but all in all well worth the price. The waitress/casier was very nice. Will go back and try out the other "new" dishes.

There is no other place that houses excellent tapa dishes than Tapa King. Choose from the all time favorite tapsilog (Tapa King), sweet flavoured (Tapa Queen) or spicy flavoured (Tapa Prince). Their tapa is juicy and tender. They also have boneless bangus and other pinoy dishes, but most of the time I only go back here for the tapa alone. But overall food quality is very good. Never mind the oh so plain store setting or what, you'd still come out really satisfied.

Two of my favorites here at tapa king is the crispy liempo and Tapa king special best paired with hot brewed coffee, their tapa meat is so tender and juicy, there is no other place for me when it comes to best tapa , just only at Tapa king.

It's in a food court so don't expect comfort or homeyness. It's a place to grab a quick and relatively affordable bite during office breaks or on your way to the mall. The actual resto seats only about 16 people and there is only one server outside doing double duty as a cashier so expect some delays in serving. That said, Tapa King is my go-to resto for breakfast food or when I'm craving for tapa. The meat is tender and tasty and goes well with the garlicky fried rice and egg. I would prefer a free-standing branch than one that's in a mall or foodcourt, though. beingjellybeans.wordpress.com
