I love Romulo's! Their bistek (beef steak) tagalog and baby squid are faves! I can eat these dishes over and over and I will never stop ordering these! Their Munggo is a bit too soupy/watery for me.. wishing for more mung beans in a serving and I can go without the kinchay or whatever you call the herb they put in there :( Ginataang Sigarillas and Laing are good recommendations for vegetables. Bagoong Rice is yum and the Chorizo Lumpia is also ok but I can only eat a piece since the flavors are too overpowering for my taste. All in all.. still not getting tired going back to Romulo's!
Tried their bangus sisig, sinigang na liempo, crispy pork binagoongan, ginataang sigarilyas, ginataang kalabasa, and their baby pusit. The bangus sisig was pretty good, definitely worth ordering even as a main dish. The sinigang na liempo was fine, it was standard good sinigang, though they used crispy fried liempo, wherein I think I would have enjoyed it better if they had left the liempo soft and tender, it being fried beforehand doesn't really add anything. The crispy pork binagoongan is very good, and I would say one of their best main dishes available. From prior experience, their crispy beef tadyang is also very good. These are what I'm looking for when I go to Romulo. The baby pusit was good, but don't expect a lot of it, it's a very small serving. The vegetables were pretty standard, though the crispy crablets help the ginataang kalabasa stand out. Romulo is still pretty much one of the best Filipino restaurants around, definitely among the best if not the best in Quezon City. Great place to go for upscale Filipino food

Food was served hot and of good quality. The crispy pusit glazed with sweet and spicy sauce taste great, so as the pomelo salad. The General's chicken was quite dry but tasty. Boneless crispy pata was delicous and not fatty/greasy. Beef Bulalo was good, although we asked for some fish sauce to make it a little saltier. Chicharon was ordinary, while the Pancit Puti was bland. The ambiance was relaxing. I love how cozy and spacious the place was. The designs of the interiors are also eye pleasing. The Staffs are quite snobbish, and seems tired. The girl from the reception assisted us with a frown.
