Bidrage med feedbackThe staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is reasonably priced and they're really good, especially the soy chicken. I loved the strawberry milk and the strawberry shake, too. Not too sweet. Just the right amount of strawberry.
The ambience is very condusive for reviewing, and for bondings as well. the wall designs are cute. sayang hindi ko mapicturan ng maayos kasi maraming tao. i noticed also that there are people going upstairs looking for seats but unfortunately full na rin... so i wish they'd have a bigger space to accomodate more customers. the food is delicious. i'd want to try some more in their menu when i come back! and yes, anlaki na pala ng medium sized bingsu. :
I 've been to this place when it was still known as Noonsaram . Before the big overhaul, the place was blasting K-Pop music all day long and was known for amazing bingsus that are worth the price. Now that it has done its big rebranding , I must say that while I honestly miss Noonsaram , what replaced it was something much more aesthetically appealing and relaxing. The place looks much more contemporary and rustic compared to before (which is what gives White Tree its utter charm! , BUT the menu is pretty much still the same! When I first saw the White Tree Cafe, I immediately missed Noonsaram until I saw and tasted what they offer: same old Noonsaram, but with a truly beautiful and well-deserved upgrade!! : The staff is still very accommodating, and the food and price are still the same (although there were a few new additions to the place which are also very, very good . My usual orders here before are their bingsus and their tteokbokki. During my most recent visit, I tried their smoothies together with my partner. The strawberry smoothie is a total 5/5! You can really taste the fruit, and it 's very refreshing : The matcha smoothie may need a little work because the taste of matcha powder is extremely dominant. As for their bluberry smoothie, I think it 'd work better with less milk (but that 's just me! . Overall, this place is calm, quiet, relaxing, and very ideal for meetups with friends and even studying! While Noonsaram will always be in my heart, the White Tree Cafe is definitely a well-deserved upgrade for the former : (Photo credits to Gab Ramos
There 's a new cafe in Katipunan that 's seems to burst with perfection. Or at least near perfection. It 's not a typical coffee shop that serves only cakes and coffee but Kimbap, Bibimbap, Bulgogi and Kimchi. Obviously, when you see these items on the menu, there 's only one thing that pops in mind: That it 's a Korean Cafe. Nothing but. Minutes before coming over I had read a bit about the restaurant. And what I envisioned about it, I saw and experienced. That it 's a quaint cafe with cozy atmosphere and good food. While carefully scanning the overhead menu, two items seemed to be shouting my name: Avocado Shake (P140) and Kimbap Ham (P150). And so, I did order for them and while waiting for my food I let my eyes wander, felt the quaintness of the place while thanking the universe for the laziness of the afternoon (yes, I was really trying to get into that lazy feel). The Avocado Shake was the Avocado Shake I wanted. The Kimbap was also the Kimbap I wanted. Rolled well and had that 'clean ' taste and look (ingredients used were fresh and deliciously crispy). The servers were obviously new at their job so a little boo-boo here and there was forgivable. So, why didn 't I give a rating of 5? One reason: the OIC of White Tree Cafe. Her name 's Leica. She 's the OIC who ONLY gave me that smile when I asked for my receipt. Who gave me that oh-so-sweet smile when I asked if its their company 's policy NOT to give a receipt to diners. Her reply? KASI HINDI NAMAN LAHAT HUMIHINGI NG RESIBO. Huh? Now, my next question: Hindi ba duty ng bawat business owner/worker to issue a receipt VOLUNTARILY at hindi na kailangang hingin pa? At that point, I shut her out. I don 't want her kind to be ruining my lazy afternoon. So, I went back to sipping my shake and finishing my Kimbap thinking that even after that minor row with that woman who claims to be the 'leader of a food operation, ' I 'm definitely revisiting. To bask in the laziness of White Tree again. Or maybe, also give the OIC a brief lecture on proper restaurant operation and maybe leave an anonymous letter to BIR after. Nah. I won 't bother. I will just relate this funny experience to my restaurant clients and have a good laugh. Thank you, OIC.
