Bidrage med feedbackI walked in from the cold into this warm and cozy spot for a casual breakfast. The generous portion of bacon and eggs on toast, paired with a robust hot coffee, was just what I needed. The service was prompt and accompanied by a friendly smile, all at a reasonable price. The quirky decorations and the mind-bending wall and floor designs in the bathroom make this place quite a conversation starter.
Atlas is a fantastic discovery located at the end of the Wharf. While the venue is small and the seating arrangements are quite snug, that’s not the focus here. The lunch deal featuring steak and chips was exceptional. The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right, accompanied by chips and a salad. For just an extra dollar (definitely worth it), you can add two slices of bread. Overall, this place is delicious, budget-friendly, and a remarkable gem. Bravo, Atlas!
On our last night, we returned to try the recommended steak, and for just $20, it was fantastic! Since it was chilly outside, we moved indoors and enjoyed another drink. However, the only downside of the evening was the awful music—speed metal was playing. I know we're 49 and 54 years old, respectively, but honestly, who really likes that kind of music? Afterward, we headed home for a final drink. Despite that one drawback, Atlas is a fantastic bar, and we still highly recommend it!
Great little place with amazing view and full of character!<br/ <br/ They served delicious craft beer, malt wine and a wide range of drinks. Food is also delicious, especially their hand cut chips!<br/ <br/ Outdoor seats are nice and warm even in winter, it's cosy with the overhead heater and blanket! Awesome...
Quirky, cosy little bar by Lake Wakatipu. Seating indoors and out. The door to the staff only area looks like a fridge door kinda cool! The mulled wine was great; had a small cinnamon stick in it too, nice touch. We will come here again next time we visit Qtown.
