Bidrage med feedbackBeing this was a new restaurant in the neighborhood, I wanted to help support the local business. I saw the girl giving out menus in front of the restaurant so I went over to get a menu. I went up to her and asked for a menu. To my surprised, she looked at me and looked away and ignored me when I asked for a menu. I asked again and she just stood there ignoring me. Then a couple walked by and she gave them a menu. Now I thinking she only giving out menus to Latin people as I am Asian. My final attempt for a menu, I asked again and she just ignored me. For being a new restaurant, I wasn't aware they only catered to Latins and not any other races. Pretty silly but I guess they have the right to serve whoever they want.
Food wasn't bad. They need to work on the portion control. A little bit more goes a long way. I wish them the best on their success being a new restaurant ? ? ?
The food is incredible! So tasty!!! Not one complaint.
DELICIOUS!!!!This is a new Italian spot in Jackson Heights.Didn’t know what to expect but was really craving Italian cuisine, so I gave it a try.Decor: very simple, clutter less and soft playing music.Ambient: relaxing and not that many people but I’m sure it’s because it’s new and people have yet to discover it.Food: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I met the chef ?? not Italian but he shared with me that he has worked in some of the most exclusive Italian restaurants in the city, so his passion for the cuisine is evident.Definitely give it a try. They are applying for their liquor license, so for now you can only dine there.
Thought my review would be best with a list then a basic review. This is from beginning to end. Did not ask for proof of vaccination card to eat in. Got a soda, poured soda straight into glass and gave no ice. Soda wasn't that cold. Asked for a glass of water, was about to bring out a bottle and I had to explain that I wanted tap water. Gives 2 small pieces of bread per person. Doesn't offer more. Came to the table saw my husband was about done with his soup and I was still working on mine. They were talking the second I was done he stopped talking, took my bowl and walked away. It was like he was waiting for me to finish my soup. Didn't really eat my dish, filled up by the soup and the two pieces of bread. Waiter/owner seemed to be annoyed that I didn't finish my meal. Also didn't ask how the meal was and if it was ok just kinda looked disappointed. At the end he asked if there was anything else we would like and I said check please. We were sitting there for about 15 min waiting for the check while he was at the counter, walking around, talking to the guests, but mainly it was like he seemed to do stuff to kill time but he wasn't bringing us our check. Girl comes and asks if we were done and I was like yes we are, we were done about 15 min ago when we asked for the check. Waiter walks by the table and I was like can we have our check now. Comes back in 1 min with it. We get the check husband is putting the money together to pay the check. Waiter comes behind him while he is doing this. I see this and gave the waiter a look he promptly walked away. So let me get this straight he took his sweet a time to give us the check, had to ask 2 times for it. Yet he was in a rush for us to pay that he stood right behind my husband while he was getting his money together. Now my husband and I pretty much knew he was the owner of this place and we were not happy with the service at this point at all. So we left a little bit more then out bill came out. The owner/waiter comes over when we are about to leave and he seemed pretty annoyed and was going to say something to us about the tip. Now if the owner and I would not be surprised that he comments to my review and says he's not, after pretty much giving us a lengthy reason for not serving pizza. With him pretty much talking like the owner would, I doubt it that an employee would go into that much detail. So yeah he was definitely the owner. Now if you're the owner and you give lousy service am I really supposed to tip you? I am just adding to your profit and I know you are paying yourself more the $2.13 an hour and that you don't have to split your tips. However nice try though.
