Terrace - Queen Creek

Oh, my God. I was around the corner for an appointment at work, and I was crunchy about an hour at a time. We stopped by Terrace Restaurant after seeing some delicious looking pictures on Google and some good reviews. No single review here can show exactly how phenomenal terrace is, not even my own! The parking lot was busy, but the restaurant is on a golf course, so we thought it would probably be golfers, and for our luck it was. We asked the gentleman at the reception for the golf course when he thought 1 hour was reachable, and he said he could be it, but we can check with the bartender for a more accurate answer. The bartender was beyond and beyond, amazing what she does. We haven't found a name, but her personality is warm and welcoming. She confirmed that one hour was reachable and taught us how to place and order. She told us we were sitting everywhere and she would get the food out (she was the only person I could see there except the guy in the kitchen). I ordered the brisket sandwich, my fiancée has a double double. This brisket was the biggest brisket sandwich I've ever had. The meat was fresh and tender, BBQd to perfection. It was absolutely crushed in sauce, which was also incredible to darken the frits. The burger was a perfect medium rare. It was juicy and fresh, with a bunch of freshest salad, juicy tomatoes, and a savory cut of cheese. The frits for both plates were crispy, but soft and advised exactly right! And we even got a fresh soda filling to go cups on the way. The most amazing part to know that we were crunchy at a time, we were back in our car in just 25min, starting to finish. We live an hour west, but this up and beyond the experience has already given me the Itch to go back, and we have just stopped there today! 15/10 a must be for lunch or dinner or even a few rounds (the course was also beautiful)

The restaurant terrace is part of the Johnson Ranch community, but is open to the public. We went to lunch late afternoon. The menu is simple, but has variety and they have a well-stocked bar. They also offer various community activities and happy hours. Our server Daniel was very friendly and attentive.

Great little restaurant. Apparently I missed and after the locals the beef would have ordered. Next time.
