Bidrage med feedbackThe Queen Creek Olive Mill truly combines the best of food, farming, and fun in one location. We had a delightful experience at the Eatery. We ordered an Antipasto board, fresh orange juice, and Olipop grape soda. I loved snacking on the variety of items on the board. The atmosphere is casual, with outdoor seating on the patio that allows you to enjoy the scenery. I appreciate places that offer an outdoor option. Inside, there’s a market where you can find bottled olive oil, gelato, cookies, and infused coffee and tea. With so many delicious options, you're sure to leave satisfied!
I'm not sure if I've ever used the word "charcuterie" before, but it's time to embrace it. First off, this is an actual olive farm and mill. While I believe you can take tours of the mill, we opted to simply stop by for some snacks, drinks, and a leisurely stroll around the farm. It's a stunning spot in the desert, almost making you forget that you're in such a harsh environment, thanks to the abundance of trees and greenery. The temperature here feels at least 10 degrees cooler, which is a refreshing change. You can purchase a variety of olives and olive oil during your visit. If you're looking for something to eat, they offer charcuterie boards, sandwiches, flatbreads, and other delicious items. Even if you only visit this place once, it provides a unique experience unlike any other. Additionally, there are plenty of outdoor spaces available for celebrations, private parties, and even weddings. This place is definitely worth a visit!
This review focuses solely on the food and service. The Olive Mill is a charming place with plenty of outdoor seating, and the coffee bar is quite good as well. However, when it comes to the food, it leaves much to be desired. I've had several meet-ups with friends here, and some have even decided to skip ordering meals altogether. The prices are on the higher side, and the fries are probably the best item on the menu. The garlic aioli is also tasty. Service can be inconsistent; some staff members seem too preoccupied to acknowledge customers. I had an uncomfortable experience when one female employee approached me and poked my pregnant belly without asking. Because of this, I don't take visiting family here for meals, but I do bring them to walk around the shop and enjoy the outdoor area for the experience.
I was looking for a unique experience for lunch found one at the Olive Mill! As you approach the facility, you'll see a long line leading out of the building. You need to stand in that line to order food inside at the counter. If you're just going for some cannoli or another bite sized treat, you walk past the line inside to the other ordering counters. You get a buzzer and you're free to browse the market or take a seat outside while you wait. It was a nice cool spring day so we sat at the picnic tables under the olive trees! The breeze, the live music, the birds chirping, the wine, it was just such a relaxing vibe! We ordered some bruschetta (3 for $12) along with a pizza. It took almost 45 minutes for our bruschetta to come out which was very odd. We had already eaten our entire pizza. I docked 1 star because our food was just mediocre. The pizza was a little lack luster, and the crust was undercooked. The bruschetta was good but the wait time was a little ridiculous for some fancy toast. There were so many goodies inside that I wanted to purchase, but since we flew from NC to AZ we were limited. Go here if you're visiting, and if you live here, take your out of town guests!
We LOVE the Olive Mill!! We live down the street so we are regulars. There are several options to choose from in their grocer section. They have a great coffee spot inside. And their food is amazing! The Olive Mill is very busy so be prepared to wait in lines if you go on weekends or busier days. I promise it is worth the wait. The outdoor ambiance is amazing and great for kids. Makes the wait times go by very quickly. This is a MUST TRY in Queen Creek.
