Olio Cuisine Decouverte - Québec

We visited this restaurant because we were drawn to the high backed booths and unique table setups. Our server was energetic and helpful, and spoke English very well. He made me a great Long Island iced tea for the same price as the featured cocktails. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with just the right lighting - not too dim or bright. The food took a bit long to come out and the portions could have been larger, especially my steak which seemed like it may have been cut in half and served to someone else. Despite this, the food was delicious and served hot in a pleasant environment.

We were staying in the hotel that houses the restaurant and decided to eat there for convenience. The music was a tad loud but the service was excellent. The food was good, not spectacular but it wasn't too expensive either.

They made a soup just for my wife that tasted excellent. French onion soup went down very well. Tapas OK. though patatas a little too spicy but we still finished all the plates. Lots to choose from. Nice modern environment to enjoy a quality meal.

Our meals took a long time to arrive and when they did, my friend received the wrong dish. The waitress offered to discount the meal due to our hunger, but in the end, she did not follow through and only offered us a dessert instead. We decided to pay and leave, feeling disappointed with the service. If they continue like this, they won't survive in the restaurant industry. We will not be returning.

Nice restaurant attached to the Hotel Classique. Food is OK. The prices are a bit steep. It appears to have had an update in decor. The majority of staff were bilingual. However, we had a female bar waitress who could not communicate and was more interested in getting her personal belongings in order to leave for the day. Service was lacking when we were here. We stayed 4 days and had afternoon drinks on 2 occasions. Both times, we had trouble getting someone's attention.
