I love finding small restaurants that may not appear impressive but end up being fantastic, and that's exactly what happened at Restaurant Iris, an El.

I came to this restaurant for my pupusa and horchata craving and ordered their combo meal, which came with a selection of pupusas and a drink. The pupusas here are very thick and filling.

I have visited Iris multiple times and I never get tired of their delicious pupusas. My favorite varieties are the pork and cheese, shrimp, chicken, and loroco.
