Bidrage med feedbackWe stumbled across this amazing restaurant which dedicates its menu to gluten free and vegan interpretations of everyday fare. Ended up having a 3 course meal for lunch and the young wait staff were very helpful in assisting with our choices. Please open a similar one in Australia!
While visiting Quebec with my daughter, we struggled to find vegan options until we discovered Crudessence. The food was excellent and I was especially impressed with the lasagna. Give Crudessence a try, you won't be disappointed!
I searched high and low for a vegan restaurant or cafe and finally found Crudessence. It didn't disappoint. The friendly guy serving recommended the chilli for lunch as it was 6degC outside and raining. The food is freshly prepared and the chilli was delicious. It came with quinoa, vegan sour cream, avocado, crispy tortillas and pea shoots. Yummy! Nice, clean feel to the place. Loved the green water containing chlorophyll.
I have dined at this restaurant before and had a good experience. I had some free time so I decided to stop in for a smoothie. The smoothie was fantastic, as was my partner's. The menu offers a wide variety of options, even though it is primarily vegan. In fact, the only non-vegan item on the menu is honey.
We called at 5:50 PM to book a table for 7:30 PM and we're told that we could get one only by 8:00PM . We were also informed that the restaurant will close at 9:00 PM. We arrived at 7:50PM to find the location closed with all chairs on top of the tables suggesting they had closed long ago. To top it we had to pay parking which went waste. We called the restaurant but no one picked up. If they don't want to serve why would they take a booking and disappear without letting us know. We will never visit this place again. Others are warned .........
