The new community of Googong is home to a fantastic cafe located within the Googong Clubhouse, next to the gym, swimming pool, and marketing office that features a scale model of the entire township. During winter, you can cozy up by the two-sided fireplace, or on sunny days, enjoy the terrace overlooking the stream and tennis courts while being attentively served. The service is friendly and quick, with freshly prepared dishes such as burgers, fish and chips, my personal favorite BLT, cakes, milkshakes, and good coffee. This cafe is a hit with locals, potential homebuyers, and the many tradespeople working in the area.

This restaurant is a hidden gem located in the up-and-coming area of Googong. Operating from 7am to 5pm seven days a week, they offer delicious hot food made to order at affordable prices. The staff is friendly, and the service is top-notch - the owner even suggested we order less food to start with. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, with beautiful views of the water features in the surrounding development. The cafe is housed in the impressive $6 million Club Googong building, which is architecturally stunning. Be sure to arrive early for their popular weekend breakfasts. Located just ten minutes south of Queanbeyan, off Old Cooma Road, Googong is easy to find with plenty of signs pointing the way.
