The Medicine Mound Depot - Quanah

Never judge a book by its cover the saying goes. Inside was great food was delicious and very sweet lovely ladies in charge. Enjoyed the hospitality.

This place was great. Not only was the food so good the service was fantastic. This place has it going on. There were 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will go back. Very friendly place.

The best steak I've had in awhile at a restaurant. Totally recommend this place. Everything was great. Service was awesome too. Great little grass areas for dogs.

I liked to read the reviews. Two years ago, my family and I ate here, because at 8:00 it was the only place to eat in the city. We were traveling for days and stopped in Quanah for the night. The owner/Koch spoke to us about his steaks. He buys aged beef then ages longer if I remember correctly. So we ordered a steak each time. For two years, we've been talking about the best and tenderest steaks we've eaten. And from the DFW area and all of Texas, that says a lot. So Saturday we make the 3.5 hours drive to this restaurant just eat steak. The staff is great. Dad, already called to confirm that they're open and that Steaks age. You have to try.

This is a great place to stop and eat in Texas. The food is wonderful, not about price and the people who own it are some of the best people you will ever meet. Pamela and I had a great meal here and boy was a plate full and very tasty. We recommend that you stop and a good Oel plate of good Oel South Texas Cook.
