Sandbar Cafe - Qualicum Beach

Went with some friends and had breakfast. Eggs Benny, over easy, poached with pancakes. The food is home- kitchen cooking; the service was friendly and timely; the location is scenic; the prices reasonable. The coffee was weak and tasteless, though. I would probably go somewhere else before I would return.

Very nice, informal beach-style cafe. Good for eggs or pancake style breakfasts, served until 11.30am. Ocean view. Pleasant service. Large, clean restrooms.

Saturday breakfast runs till 1pm. Go take a walk in the woods and then come here for REAL FOOD. I had an omelette that had real taste. Lunch menu looks great. Will have to come back!

After attempting to have all four of us satisfied with a good breakfast restaurant we finally have discovered the Sandbar to be the best choice within 30 km. Breakfast is tasty, fresh and promptly served by one very busy waitress.

Tasteful homestyle cooking! Inparticular the burgers were home made and delish. The cafe was cute and cozy
