The Century - Pyrmont

Been a couple times here and always lived up to expectations Yes a little pricey but you get the service and fantastic food A must visit when in town you won't be dissapointed

We were told the restaurant was the best in the Casino precinct. Busy but a table was available. Asked for a glass of wine but was told "wine only by bottle". Looked at the wine list and found a page "wine by the glass". Asked another server and yes, of course we could have wine by the glass. The spring rolls were delicious and the chilli oil we asked for was spot on. Huge servings of fried rice (not the best I've tasted), scallops with asparagus (delicious) and deep fried duck. A very angry looking manager (I think) bustled about giving loud orders and almost bowled us over rolling a round table on its side to another position. Good atmosphere, prices so so. As stated before, the menu is very hard to navigate.

The only positive thing I can say is that the food was ok!! There were bugs flying around the dinner table the wine list was an absolute joke with bad wine around the $50 mark and then it goes to ridiculous levels!! The staff don't cater for anyone other than the people who speak the language of the food they are serving! Over priced and terrible service so consider your options.

In my opinion, easiest the best fine dining restaurant in the STAR complex.Food may be a bit pricey but the quality is there. Service staff are attentive and attend to the needs of the diners promptly. My wife & I always make sure we have our dinners there whenever we are in Sydney.A place if you looking for a treat.

Went to celebrate my wife's birthday. Ordered a bottle of red wine and 3 entrees. The wine came - a bottle of white! Sent back. One of the entree orders was prawn dumplings but we got pork dim sims! When changed, the prawn dumplings were the best order of our meal. We ordered crisp skin chicken as a main - and it came before we had even started our third entree. Asked them to slow it down. But when we did have the chicken it was so not crisp that I suspect that it was the original just reheated. We live around the corner but will not return - the food was ordinary, there service rushed and made mistakes. And the cost is high - OK if they deliver on quality, but they fail to so so.
