Bidrage med feedbackWe were expecting crispy fried fish and perfect fries. What we got was not exactly that. The beer battered fish was amazing but the tempura one got soggy and soft very fast. The fries were not the type that are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The balsamic vinegar tasted good though. Overall not the most amazing experience, taste wise, here.
We went around 2 pm on Good Friday and despite it being the busiest day of the year, we managed to get a seat and the wait was pretty reasonable considering the throngs of people (and we were able to eat a dozen beautiful Sydney rock oysters and drink wine while we waited. We ordered the lobster platter which was plentiful and delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely return (perhaps at a less busier time)
Good location in Sydney Fish Market. Newly decorated. The BBQ Shack looks impressive but they can't even cook the seafood properly. It is still raw after second time of return. You can't trust the so called "chef". Very Disappointed
So much seafood! Lunch in Sydney.., oysters, scallops... Amazing fresh seafood and beautiful setting. Drinks to enjoy and a glorious setting.
First time at fish markets. The scallops were filling but I think there was too much rice and the cheese maybe too heAvy for the fish. The lobster was bit dry. The fresh oyster with sea urchin and salmon roll was the bomb. In the weekends it's hard to find place to sit which is frustrating.
