Panera Bread - Puyallup

I love panera, but unless you 're in the drive-through, don 't bother. I was there for a pickup order, and the first elderly lady I spoke with said well if it 's not on the shelf, it 's not ready yet, so you 'll have to wait very rudely. Then after waiting another 15 minutes I checked how much longer as it was a scheduled pick up and through several people trying to even find my order apparently it was made and had been taken by somebody else so they had to make a whole brand new order which is fine not their fault other than the first employee being rude not much they could do about the whole situation but after waiting another 20-25 minutes someone had placed my order on a random counter to be forgotten about until I had to ask yet again to check on my order thankfully there was a helpful blonde young lady helping me but the fact that it was almost an hour and 15 mins for 2 sandwiches and a cup of soup is ridiculous.

Staff is very unprofessional. I deliver food for them and was asked to confirm the order. I did for the first prompt, the second confirmation starts my drive time. I was on a double order. On my way out the staff stopped me, harrassed me about policy change stating i need to confirm twice or not take the food for my delivery. I asked to see the policy and stated that the in app instructions inform me to check my order and pick up on shelf, which I did. Brooke, Sam, and Lakisha harassed me while I was following the instructions Panera provided for puck up. I was told they would look up my name in the system. I have never stole food and was treated like a criminal. Physically touching me and trying to pull the order out of my hand was NOT OK. Please update the app for correct instructions for drivers and have someone on expo at all times to make sure orders are checked if that is your policy. Yelling and chasing people down is not ok, professional, or reasonable. I have never been treated that way by any establishment. I would like someone to contact me back.

I ordered the chipotle chicken melt and both halves where made with the fatty tendon part of the chicken breast which made it to were I had to remove the chicken. When your making the sandwich you can totally tell that part of the chicken, yet they still served it to me. Ruined my lunch....tried to call, no answer.

I usually enjoy this Panera and have not had any issues. Food is good and it's always clean. They even let my daughter try a soup to see if was something she would like, I appreciated that. I was not a fan of the fact that our food was sitting up at the window ready for a few minutes with no one manning the window. Many other peoples food was ready also. This made my soup barley warm and croutons soggy. I miss how they use to have the food taken to your table. As always, love their bread!!

As you can see I ordered French onion and got chicken noodle instead. Since I have the flu it makes more sense but I’m sick of chicken noodle. Also isn’t this a cup ? I paid for a bowl. Someone needs to run me my money please.
