Black Angus Steakhouse - Puyallup

Granted, it was Mother's Day and very busy. We were seated in a booth that seemed to be out of the way and kind of “out of sight, out of mind” to the waiters as well. We ordered our food after about 15 we finally got bread (which two of us can't eat anyway)... our salads never showed up. But after 35 minutes, we got served our entrees. We asked about our salads? Oooops! The server forgot. Food was okay. My daughter's chicken breast was overcooked and on the dry side. My husband got the pesto lamb special and requested it medium, and although he said the flavor was good, the meat itself was tough and chewy. My salmon was great as always. Overall, kind of a “meh” experience.

We were promptly seated in a central location in the restaurant, a comfortable booth, for a family celebration. An outstanding server, who had relocated to Western Washington from Virginia several years ago, made our experience memorable. He took outstanding care of our group , as a direct result of the service he provided my wife, daughters self, we'll most certainly return.

Great place to stop off for a quick steak. They aren't messing around when you get garlic mashed! ?

They consistently advertise a 2 for one deal on Doordash but I've never successfully been able to place an order. Very dissappointed, each time I was very excited to try this place, I'm not sure I'll attempt a 3rd time.

I came here after a long day at work and was treated so nicely by the hostesses and was seated immediately, i had asked for my steak medium and it came back a bit overcooked and my hostess Rebecca immediately offered to bring back another one. She had noticed that my voice was a bit raspy from a cold I was getting over and had asked if I wanted a hot cup of tea or anything. This was the nicest experience I've had, their food is amazing as well as the people they have as the face of their restaurant. I am very impressed with this service as this is my first time dining at Black Angus. I will be coming back for sure!
