Ketam Manis Seafood Cyberjaya

I have been here for more than 10 times. I must say that this is one of the affordable halal Chinese cuisine restaurant in Cyberjaya and Putrajaya are. Taste: Above expectations. My favourite menu are: Chilli crabs, Black pepper crabs, Salted egg squid, Butter prawns and Steamed siakap with lemons Price: Affordable depending on what you ordered. Ambient: Average. Staff: Very friendly and helpful. Other facilities: Additional dining area on the upper floor for big group or private functions. There are also praying area and toilet available on this floor. Interesting: Live fishs, crabs, lobsters including in cold waters. If you are a smoker, you can request for an open area but covered dining area at the back of the restaurant. Setback: Parking could be a problem, depending on time. But there are plenty parking area near the PETRONAS service station.

Food was subpar and the waiting time was extremely long for a set meal. We had the fish head curry set and it took them more than 45 mins to be served.....and the fish head curry wasn't worth the wait. I did not order any crab dishes as I noticed they took the frozen crabs out from the freezer when an order from another table came in...instead of the live ones in the aquarium display They have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements we opted for the latter....definitely wasn't an enjoyable experience as their tables were rusty and chairs looked so beaten up and dirty.

Food wise was under par. Order set A. Thr only good was the telor dadar. The siakap fish got this sangkar taste, can feel thr sos tomato in the kuah, tomyam was only the color not the taste, the ayam kunyit was cold as if already being prep earlier and do not go near the shark fin soup which taste like kuah megi ayam. Need to go back to basic of cooking. Just for me not worth it and cant seem to find what is thr chinese cooking like.this.

Cleanliness: Place is quite unclean with water on the floor. Price is average like other chinese muslim restaurant. I ordered fish but it was slightly uncooked. We also need to wait for a long time. The rest of the food can eat but not really tht tasty.

If you like seafood dishes, this is one of the places you really really need to try. I have tried this place several times and have never been disappointed with anything I ordered. Seriously. I have tried the sotong goreng tepung (super crispy), kam heong beef, butter prawns, and several Vege dishes. Fav seafood restaurant in Cyberjaya!
