The Kings Arms - Purbeck

The pub is hugely welcoming to family and furry friends alike. It’s a hidden gem with oodles of charm and friendly staff. Perfect for a mid post walk drink or snack. Minutes from Spyway on the SW Coast Path. We had a lovely meal and drinks before heading home to finish our walk. The Axolotls are a bonus.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent service. Sunday roast is outstanding, good sized portion and good value, cauliflower cheese is delicious. Dog friendly too.

We had an amazing evening at the Kings. I have coeliac so eating out can be awkward but everyone at the Kings made me feel super safe. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was brilliant. Would recommend this pub to anyone passing by.

This is a very well situated pub if you're out for a walk along the coast or camping nearby. Friendly staff, good food and beer and sport on TV. There's also a bus stop right outside. I recommend it very highly at all times of year but particularly in the summer

Very disappointing. My 23 year old daughter is gluten free. Popped into the pub to check there were gluten free meals in advance. I realise it is tricky, but when we went back in the evening, the only options were ham and some chips. My poor daughter was in tears. We were a group of seven that therefore had to find a different solution.
