Aroma Del Mar - Puntarenas

I can't judge it high enough. Best Ceviche I had, delicious juicy king prawns and wonderful vibes. Children loved the playground and we had a bathroom in the sea... an absolute jewel.

We were nearby and decided to check this place. Beautiful environment, beautiful smile, beautiful food! Best Ceviche I ever had and boot cold beer! It didn't come in the night, but a lot of lighting and it looks like it was very nice. We were for a swim and had a great chat with the owner.

The food at Aroma del Mar is excellent. We might have eaten so well since we moved to Costa Rica five years ago, but we had nothing better, that's safe. During our three-day stay in the Roma del Mar we ate at the Aroma del Mar morning, lunch and night and everything we tried on the menu was delicious. They even served an authentic Ricotta cheesecake on the grounds with two delicious sauces. The pasta dishes used all fresh delicious ingredients and the cook specializes in the most beautiful sauces. The pizzas were all thinly encrusted with all fresh ingredients in very imaginative combinations. You'll be happy as we were. The restaurant is completely open with overhead fans and a constant sea breeze. The decor is what I would call Classy Rustic with a European flair. All right. It is a very short walk from the restaurant to the beach that you can look forward to when you enjoy your meal. The owners, Jinny and Lars are cordial and welcoming and are happy to make every accommodation their guests wish. We'll go back soon!

Ate here almost every day of the week at our holiday stay in a villa in the Roma del Mar complex. The menu has both Costa Rican and Italian specialties and everything was unbelievably it way, way exceeded my expectations. Pasta seemed fresh! Pizza (deserved on certain nights) was as good as me! Make sure to have fish or shrimp to experience more local cuisine and local breakfast options. Cocktails were also really good and fresh, all very affordable. Oh, and it's right on the beach with magnificent views. If you don't stay in the Roma del Mar, it seems like it's a tricky place, but worth the visit. Cudes to the employees and chefs!

Very friendly, laidback owners. Gluten free and vegetarian options. A wonderful beachfront place with hammocks to relax in right next to the water.
