Bidrage med feedbackDuring a recent tasting at Kerala Cafe, I had the opportunity to try some Malabar dishes. The Pathimugam, an Ayurvedic drink popular in Kerala, caught my attention. The Lime Kulukki Sarbath was a unique and refreshing twist on a fruit drink, while the Kozhi Koll Soup and Mutton Bone Soup were packed with flavor. The Chicken clarified butter Roast was a spicy delight, and the Prawns Coconut Fry and Pomfret Roast were simply delicious. I was particularly impressed by the Surmai sixty-five, marinated with Chettinad Spices and Curd, as well as the Double Chicken Meal, which was hearty and flavorful. The Chicken Kerala Curry and Prawns kilohertz Special were highlights of the meal, and I also enjoyed the Maida Parotta and Puttu. For dessert, I tried the Kerala Fruits Falooda, a cold dessert made with mixed fruits, milk, basil seeds, sev, and ice cream. While it was a tasty treat, I still prefer traditional South Indian desserts. Overall, Kerala Cafe Baner offers a unique dining experience with delicious and authentic Kerala cuisine. I highly recommend giving it a try for a taste of Malabar in Pune.
The packaging was excellent and the delivery was fast. The taste was great as well. I ordered the chicken leg fry tiffin combo and spent $314 on it, so I found the portions to be a little small. Despite this, the food was very flavorful. Upon opening the box, I was immediately greeted with a wonderful aroma of seasoned spices. Even the daal was delicious and not bland. My favorite part was the chicken bone fritter, which was delicious and had an amazing marinade. However, it did have a slightly overwhelming fishy taste, as if it had been marinated with fish. Overall, everything was really good and worth trying.
