Amazing ambience, excellent musicians... Yummy Cocktails... Wednesday is a lady night... So a few drinks in the house... The food is also good... All a nice place to hang out with friends after a long day!!!

The vibe of this place is just perfect to hangout with your friends and have a good time after a long tiring day. They had live music which was a cherry on top and it made our night extra special. It was a very lively bar, would highly recommend this place : <3

Code the speakeasy bar has replaced the Hidden Place of Kothrud a while back now. They've switched up the decor a bit, including some interesting tidbits like an antique telephone, a red phone booth like in Doctor Who and some funny posters. Coming to the food, they have started these set lunch meals like Pasta meal and Dal Makhani meal at quite reasonable rates approx 250 for a full meal. So one of the meals includes paneer tikka, dal makhani, jeera rice and gulab jamun. Another one I tried was the one with white pasta, garlic bread and gulab jamun. The drinks were quite nice, the Cosmopolitan wasn't too sweet so I liked it. My favourite was the Whisky Sour which they'd made quite well. There is a separate section for smoking, a bar cum cash counter and a dimly lit yet happening atmosphere. This is the kind of place college kids (MIT college Kothrud anyone? can come after hours to have a few beers and enjoy lunch at pocket friendly rates. Cheers!

It is a small place, but has an absolutely cool mood. You can spend a great time with your band, watch games on the screen and enjoy the music. Coming into food, they have some great options to choose, but think if you are a vegetarian, the options are less. Nevertheless, everything I had was good and made big bar bites. I tried Spring Rolls and Pizza. Both were good. My friend had Tandoori chicken starter and she liked it. For cocktails, we had Cosmopolitan and Elevate. Elevate was rather citric and really raises the taste. Must try. They also have happy hours twice the fun!

Cosy place with interesting interiors and decor. Safe to visit a single person. The place will let you order and pay your bill from the Dotpe website. There is no interaction with the staff except when receiving your food order, and if there is any problem. This minimal interaction offers comfort and privacy. The staff is friendly, polite and helpful. Washroom is clean. The menu is varied from soups to the main course in Indian, Chinese and even fast food. The food and drinks are interesting and affordable. What I ordered Dune runner mocktail (with a free page of popcorn), code salad, flambeed brownie. Drinking and salad were great, Brownie wasn't so much. Recommended for a visit to Paud street, Kothrud.
