Baker's Basket - Pune

I had Ordered a fresh fruit cake online through Zomato, then called up the bakers basket helpline number and spoke to a lady to give her instructions about the message on the cake. Specifically spelled out HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANKU. To which she responded. But when i received the cake it spelled HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARUN. little heartbroken because its my brothers birthday and someone messed up with the name. <br/ What saved the day was the cake itself. Cheers to the kitchen team for making a wonderful cake.<br/ <br/ P.S add a line in your website for writing the message on the cake to avoid this kind of a mess up.

Bakers Basket is a very old cake shop in Pune. Now they have many outlets around Pune. Well I didn't knew this one was near my house. So decided to order a Cake from here on the occasion of my mom's birthday. We usually ordered the typical black forest or the pineapple cake. However this time it was chocolate temptation for a change. It was not anything exceptional, other than the usual chocolate cakes. Somehow I guess bakers basket seems to be loosing their heritage taste. Yet they are a step ahead from the local cake shops mushrooming around every corner. So overall worth a visit.
