La Corte - PULA

I was so sorry that I had not read the reviews before we got sucked into this restaurant. The girl outside was charming and we were hot and hungry which is why we ended up here. Some people got offered a glass of prosecco, we didn't! The service was probably the worst we've ever had on holidays. The staff were rude to each other. We waited about an hour for mains and when they arrived my husband was told that the mixed veg (side) wasn't available!! What? Why not tell us that when we were ordering. So my husband had an overpriced piece of fish with nothing else. Luckily the kids ordered extra fries! The apology was scant, I think they are used to this! We spent 11 nights in Sardinia and this was our most expensive and worst restaurant experience.

I am torn on this place, from the outside the setting is beautiful but once you get through the gates it is a bit of a let down. Staff were friendly but the food was average. Lobster was delicious but the steak my friend ordered was over done as was my husbands fish. A bit pricey for what was offered. Others were offered prosecco on arrival but we weren't. It was fine but I am not sure I would return.

Good selection ox Italian dishes other than pizza . Service price correct in quiet setting inside a courtyard. Nice homemade tiramsu

Beautiful setting but terrible service we had to wait over 1 hour for the main dishes. Expensive for the quality and service. Much better restaurants to be found in Pula.

Super service from the moment we walked in. Friendly host and staff made us feel very welcome. Tasty food priced very reasonable. I would defiantly recommend for a couples night or for the family.
