Great food and good service even tho the server was by herself she did a great job . The food was served hot and very flavourful and tasty and large fresh portions . Highly recommend the roasted Brussels Sprout salad. The menu had great choice and many vegetarian option.......
Open for about 4 months, this is a step above another sandwich shop. Happy hour on craft beers and wine is inviting and the stapled, copy machine produced menus cold use some cosmetic improvements. But my biggest concern is the wooden tray with paper insert should be replaced. While they look eclectic, I'm not at all convinced they can be cleaned very well after use. Sorry, but please bring my food on plates that can washed. My sausage was rather dry and the baguette bun couldn't hold the sausage and all the fillings (onions & mushrooms) without spilling out.
Being craft beer fans we were excited to try this place. It's a newer restaurant and the dining area is a long room with a nice bar. We arrived and it was not crowded. There's a good selection of craft beers with a couple on tap. There's some nice craft Mexican beers available. The beers we had were really good and tasty. We started with appetizers of two different orders of onion rings and an order of the brussels sprouts. My why he ordered a bowl of French onion soup. She said it was OK. The onion rings were just OK, a bit greasy, typical onion rings. The brussels sprouts which I normally do not like were actually very, very good. Our friends ordered burgers and fries. I ordered the Panchofurter sausage and my wife ordered a burger. My sandwich came with either fries or a salad but I was not given an option to choose and received a salad. The bun for my sandwich came toasted which I would've preferred soft instead. My wife ordered her burger well done and when it came it was cooked medium instead. It was a big slop of a mess. We had the waiter take it back and have it re-cooked and when I came back it was even worse than the first time. It was Inedible. It wasn't a great first time experience here but we'd be willing to give it another try the next time we're in town and hopefully things will be better.
Panchofurter opened around the start of 2017 and is a very delicious and tasty addition to the restaurant scene in the Zona Romantica, it's is located less than 500 meters up from Olas Altas on Fraocisco Madero. It is the product of a partnership that has brought together a wonderful craft brewer, designer, sausage maker and others. Sebastian is the sausage guru producing for the restaurant as well as for a sausage kiosk at the weekly Saturday Farmers' Market. We ate there three times during our holidays. It was close to the beach, truly filling and always a great meal. Its long narrow design is well appointed with an open kitchen at the front and a bar at the rear on the same side. The seating is all along the opposite wall with a banquette seat along most of the wall faced by tables and chairs that can be conviently grouped to accommodate your party. The beer got two thumbs up from the craft beer aficionados and the brats and sausages were the star of the menu There were two house special frankfurters and a half dozen traditional and flavoured brats/sausages. The menu takes you stepwise through the selection process. Step 1, choose a sausage, all nicely described in terms of flavours and fillings. Step 2, choose a bun - baguette, hotdog or ciabatta. Step 3, pick your toppings and Step 4, choose two sides. Besides sausages there is one hamburger on offer. Wash the meal down with a house special beer.
