El Jardin De Jade - Puerto Plata

I absolutely loved this resort. The cleanliness was impeccable and the service was excellent; very friendly staff. The value for the price was outstanding. The food at the buffet restaurant was very good, especially the goat dish which was exquisite. The resort is small but cozy, and I enjoyed having coffee while enjoying a good view and a snack. The gym is well-equipped and the coach is very friendly. The a la carte restaurant had delicious dishes, I recommend the salmon pesto. There were some fun nighttime entertainment activities like bingo and trivia. The beach was also very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious, with free wifi and cable TV. They even provided an iron and hairdryer. The pool was beautiful, especially at night. The resort is especially suitable for couples celebrating anniversaries or special occasions. Some areas for improvement include more diverse nighttime entertainment for all guests, as young couples may get bored. The food at the beach was of lower quality. There were long wait times for transportation from the beach back to the resort. The resort does not have a club, and the recommended club nearby was not great. The pool bar should offer snacks during the day. Taxi drivers from Uber are not allowed on the premises, which can be inconvenient for guests. This resort is better suited for couples or family groups rather than groups of friends. Overall, it is a great choice for a relaxing getaway with good value for the price.

The Silver Port is truly exceptional. We spent the whole day without being bothered and around 8 pm, we requested for the table not to be cleaned, and they obliged. The energetic and charming waiter, Waldis, does an excellent job. The variety of food is impressive considering the restaurant's size. The menu is exquisite, and we will definitely be returning in the future.
