While on vacation in Cabarete , Claro cafe was steps away from our resort. Claro café is a wonderful place to eat a fresh and healthy meal. The best part of this place is the owner Sandra. She is so personable and engaging. She was kind enough to recommend some local places and even draw us a map. We wouldn’t of seen some cool spots in Cabarete if it wasn’t for her. My husband and I highly recommend you visit this place during your stay in Cabarete.

We loved this place! Located in front of the Hotel Casa Blanca (but managed distinctly), Claro Cafe is managed by a German ex-pat who 's been in the DR for 20 years. She easily accommodated our group of 12. We ordered a great diversity of their drinks and breakfasts--all were wonderful! I had the banana, almond and coconut Sweet Treat pancakes with a small fruit platter with a twist. Local papaya, mango, banana, pineapple and melon were dressed with raisins and toasted almond slivers. I had a bite of the banana bread French Toast for good measure--delicious!!

My favourite cafe in cabarete the pancakes are fabulous and fluffy get them with banana almonds you’ll thank me later! Banana bread French toast is also to die for. The owner is super lovely the atmosphere is perfect :
