The Verandah - Puerto Galera

I have been visiting Puerto Galera since 2001, and during my recent stays, I've chosen to stay at the Resort Out of the Blue. The quality of the accommodations has consistently been outstanding. I thought it couldn’t get any better, but during my latest visit, I noticed that management has completely revamped the menu and the operation of their restaurant, the Verandah. The food and selection were already quite good, but with the new menu and the improvements in cooking techniques, it is undoubtedly the best resort restaurant in the Philippines. A big congratulations to the team; I will definitely be back! The accommodations remain first-class as always, making for a wonderfully pleasant tropical getaway.

The Verandah is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Puerto Galera. My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful meal there over the weekend. The Wagyu steak was incredible, and I highly recommend the Pancit Canton with shrimp as well. It's a shame that such an excellent restaurant has faced criticism from the trolls below. Absolutely fantastic restaurant with a beautiful view of Sabang. Our group of eight was staying at a nearby resort, and this place was recommended to us upon our arrival. Although we explored a few other options, we found ourselves returning here. Rendo and his staff were exceptional, often staying late to accommodate our night dives. The food was outstanding, and the chicken fajitas were our favorite choice from the menu — though everything we tried was delicious. They also serve great shakes and cocktails. Highly recommend!

Outstanding! We ate here about 10 times on our dive trip. The food is some of the best I've had in the Philippines. Every dish we tried was fresh,hot, and delicious. They make their own bread, pasta, and pizza. The traditional Filipino food was excellent as was the variety of international foods, meats and seafood. Don't miss Happy Hour 430-7pm 170php drinks. We had one issue with one of our drinks and it was immediately resolved. The manager also came over to apologize and take off the bill. The service is excellent! If you come to Puerto Galera you won't regret eating here.

The Verandah is amazing! A few weeks ago, my mates from uni and I went for a holiday in Puerto Galera. We wanted to try a lot of different things, and one of those was The Verandah. We were in PG for a week and had lunch one day, and just kept coming back. The food is excellent and service is great! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to dine in a restaurant with plenty of variety, great staff and brilliant view! Will definitely come back.P.S.
