El Habanero Loko zicatela

It was friday night around we tried Fresh and it was busy, we tried Costa and it was busy then we found el habanero loco and it was almost empty. it is lower key than those two, but we had a really nice dinner....the ceviche was flavorful and plentiful, and the mahi mahi al ajillo was good: simple, no fancy sauces, plenty of veggies on the side, it tasted like fresh fish. we had mahi mahi at the fancier Santa Fe the next night and honestly it was not as good. there was some music in the background but mercifully was kept at low volume. the kid who served us was really nice and attentive. price was very reasonable for a restaurant right on the beach.

Sitting on the beach in the morning is only better with a good cup of coffee, and you can get one here. Breakfast is good as well. Service is excellent and the restaurant looks very clean. I believe it is family run.

Only ones there and for good reason. Both of us were running to the toilet minutes after leaving. Even the guacamole was disappointing.

Great service, awesome food and they had little napkin holders made from coconuts which looked like armadillos! Bought of them!

The location is on Zicatela beach where you can watch the surfers and the sunset. We started with the guacamole appetizer...more than enough for two and d licious. I had a grilled fish fillet (Dorado) that was the best tasting that I can remember. My...husband had grilled shrimp that he said was delicious. The service was perfect. Tables were beautifully set including bright cloth tablecloths. Very reasonably priced. We will definately eat there again when we return to Puerto Escondido.
