Bananas - Puerto Escondido

We have the pizza of La Hostera. They asked them to change the paprika for Jalapeños. It was absolutely amazing. Even the taste of the cheese, everything was high quality and very well balanced. Margaritas were great.

The food and service was excellent.

I have only eaten here once. After I ordered my meal, I was brought my drink and a condiment tray of butter and two salsas. I was never brought any bread (that is what I assume the condiment try was intended for? until my meal was delivered. At this point I chose to eat my meal instead of bread, butter and salsa. The meal (Lasagna was excellent! The meal and one beer was over $200 pesos w/tip. I will definitely go back and try this restaurant again.

Ordered the garlic octopus and was not what I remotely expected, it was bad in every sense. It came already chopped up into small pieces with boring fries on the side. So instead of a nice piece of octopus I could cut myself it was a ground up pile of gray mess. The taste matched the presentation as it was bland and dry. For the price it was not worth it whatsoever. So many better dining options in Puerto with more value.
