The interior looks very nice and the service was fine. I was satisfied with the tomato soup I got, but the roastbeef came with frozen vegetables (uh) and the potatoes were a bit too cool when I got served. The high ratings is due to lack of local competition in my opinion.

At first, I hesitated, then decided to have an ostrich steak. What an amazing choice. Delicious!

Let me tell you, when you find yourself hungry in a little city such as Puchov, there are things you expect and things you secretly hope for. This restaurant has exceeded both. Sure, it is not running for a Michelin star. But these guys simply know how to cook and the meal was really savory. They also offer Bryndza soup which is quite rare these days so make sure to give it a try. I wish I took some pictures of the meal I had but I was just too hungry.
