Scone Nirvana This wonderful caff, part of the Visitor Centre and right on the edge of the young Tyne lovely walk to Wylam) but even better is the food, all cooked fresh. Cakes home made and fabulous , but THE SCONES, THE SCONES! I am a crone who has consumed many a scone but I have never had one as sumptuously delicious as the fruity one I had the honour to consume here. Tears of joy as I recollect it in tranquillity.. The platonic ideal of a scone. Thank you the fabulous baking lasses of Tyne Riverside. Service great too.
